Job Overview
We are seeking Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to provide high-quality care across a range of healthcare settings in Shropshire. This is a flexible agency role offering varied clinical exposure and control over your working schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
- Assess and monitor patient conditions
- Develop and implement care plans
- Administer medication in line with NMC standards
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Work within multidisciplinary teams
- Follow safeguarding procedures
- Support patients and families
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration as an RGN
- Minimum 6–12 months UK nursing experience
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date training certificates
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to adapt across settings
Desirable Skills
- Experience in hospitals, care homes, or community settings
- Wound care and medication management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Understanding of infection control and safeguarding
